Vintage c1970 Morning Glory Quilt Measuring 86"x104" Comprised of 12 blocks 16"x16" set straight 3x4 with 3" green sashing and inner border followed by an 8" white border and a 4.5" green outer border. It is machine pieced, hand appliqued, hand embroidered and hand quilted. Polyester batting and a white polycotton reverse. Edge is finished with an applied green fabric binding. I believe that the blocks are earlier, c1940 and finished into a quilt later during the bicentennial quilt revival. It is in good condition with some spots and some toning to certain areas.
